Homeslice might just be one of my favourite places in London. If you’re a pizza lover (and let’s face it, anyone who doesn’t like pizza can’t be trusted) this is your destination restaurant.
The pizzas come either by slice or 20 inches, so you better be hungry! The menu will change from time to time, and I’d recommend one pizza between three, half and half. My absolute favourite is the chorizo, corn and coriander. This is comfort food at its greatest.
When available, the queen scallops pizza is incredible and for veggies the courgette option is a lovely balance of delicious flavours.
The kitchen is available to view, with a traditional wood fire oven which adds a rustic and authentic touch to the already cosy atmosphere and I haven’t even mentioned the best part yet. Prosecco. On. Tap.
The wine is also served well, you order a bottle and they’ll measure what you’ve on leaving and that’s what you pay for.
The only downside? Homeslice gets incredibly busy, expect to queue at any time of the day. However, the staff are incredibly friendly and the queue will generally go down fairly quickly plus in all honesty, it’s worth the wait.
A great little restaurant tucked away in the heart of seven dials, if you haven’t been I’d highly recommend a visit.
